Etymology
The world Canada means "village" or "settlement".
Holidays and Celebrations
The Winter Carnival in Quebec City, that is celebrated between February and March, it is famous for its parades, dances and music, as well as ice sculptures and snow.
In February they celebrate Ottawa Winterlude, a celebration in honor of the snow, and finally The Montreal Jazz Festival in June, and the International Jazz Festival Ottawa in the next month.
